How parliament voted, issue by issue

Parliament votes on bills, not on issues. These pages group the recorded divisions by the issue each one decided, so you can see how every party and every member voted on climate, housing, tax and the rest — and open any division to see the names.

How these are put together

Each division is matched to an issue by AI-assisted tagging, and only matches at or above 60% confidence are used. The tag also records which way a yes vote fell on that issue, so a motion worded in the negative is still counted the right way round. Verity does not characterise a member's position from these counts — it shows the votes and links to every division behind them.
